My father and I reassembling hand guns.
This work is not a glorification of the object, but rather a look at its ingratiated role within acceptable American culture. It fits right in on the suburban kitchen table. It is an experiment for examining the inherent power of a muted object; does it become silenced when not being put to its effective use?
